How to Save a Pin as an Image
You only need the link to the specific Pin. Here’s the process:
- Copy the Pin link — open the Pin on Pinterest (app or browser) and tap Share → Copy Link. On desktop, copy it straight from the address bar. Use the individual Pin URL, not a board or profile link.
- Paste it above and hit Download. The tool checks the link and pulls the image file attached to that Pin.
- Preview the result — a thumbnail appears so you can confirm it’s the right photo before saving.
- Pick a resolution if more than one is available. We only show sizes that genuinely exist on the source — nothing is upscaled.

Image Quality and Resolution
Do I get the original resolution? Yes, when the source Pin was uploaded at high resolution — we pull the same file Pinterest stores, not a compressed feed preview.
What format will the file be? Usually JPG or PNG, matching whatever the original upload was.
Why does my saved photo look softer than expected? Some creators upload at low resolution to begin with. If the source file is small, no tool can add detail that was never there.
Can I save a Pin that’s actually a screenshot of text? Yes — as long as it’s an image Pin (not a video or story Pin), it downloads like any other photo.

Copyright and Responsible Use
Saving a photo doesn’t transfer ownership of it. The person who posted a Pin is responsible for having rights to it — that doesn’t automatically give you rights to reuse it elsewhere. Personal reference is different from reposting, editing, or commercial use; check with the original creator first if you plan to do that.
